Where are iPhone/iPad iTunes backup files located?

You will find all iTunes backup files used by DiskAid on your computer's hard drive.

Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

How to display this folder in Windows Explorer:

  1. Make sure hidden files are visible in Windows Explorer, here's how:

  2. Browse to "C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup"

Windows 8, 7, Vista:

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

How to display this folder in Windows Explorer:

  1. Make sure hidden files are visible in Windows Explorer, here's how:

  2. Browse to "C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup"

Max OS X:

/Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/<your device id>

How to display this folder in Finder:

  1. Click the "Finder" icon from the dock.
  2. Select "Go" / "Go to Folder ..." from the Finder's top menu
  3. Enter : "/Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup" and click "Go"

It was quite a labyrinth for finding iTunes backup files on my PC.
